Time for a Shawnee world update. I haven't been posting much about my own life lately so I will give you guys the cliff notes!
I've been working a lot of days in a row because I requested this weekend off because I'm getting my tongue pierced this Friday! Woohoo! I'm going to have bling on my tongue so when I stick it out at people they will know! LOL
Today at work the systems were down and it was absolute CHAOS but I made it through ok. People got really emotional about it but my response was "well things happen" (I couldn't say "shit happens" LOL)
I'm trying to avoid having a love life even though men are coming from left and right. I wanna know where my career is going first.
That's all I really have to report...
Except for one thing
Do you ever feel like there is some people on your LJ friends who are just really unoriginal and copy whatever you write. I feel like one person on my friends list is ALWAYS jacking my style. I mention I like something then all of the sudden they are obsessed with it and sometimes even acts as if they are more into it than me and know more about it. They will act all stuck up about it even though their knowledge is not correct. Though they never mention they are into the same things as I until I mention I like it. Or I will write about something, post a picture, or a youtube thing and they will post it right after me.
I dunno maybe I am acting like a third grader with my whole "Waaaaaah so and so is copying me!" act but seriously it's a little odd and it kind of bugs me. I think having a LJ/Blog is about writing about your life, stuff your interested in, and your opinions. Not mine or anyone else's. I can understand being inspired by someone else's blog entry and writing about your opinions on the subject. Like "Oh I saw this on Shawnee's blog and this is what I think about it..." or "I saw this picture/video on Shawnee's blog and I wanted to share it with my friends list because it is so funny!" I ALWAYS link to the journal I got inspiration from or saw a video on. There is a LJ html tag for that even! If you don't know how to link to another journal or site Click Here to learn how!
I dunno I just think it's lame when people do that. ANYWAY! Expect pictures next week of my pierced tongue and a blonder Shawnee!!!!!!
Oh and on the subject of being blonde here is Xiaxue's video about going blonde. I think it's super funny especially the Amy Whinehouse photo! OMG LOL!
